Mpow Cheetah Review

Today I will bring you a review of a model that you may or may not have heard about, the Mpow Cheetah, which is already a consolidated model on the market and have very nice reviews on many marketplaces. The version I’ll be reviewing today is the Gen-2 Version, that improved some important aspects. The Mpow Cheetah is a famous model for being very cheap and with very good quality, so we decided to check for ourselves if it is really worth your hard earned money.

Sound

If you have a stock earphone from Apple or Samsung this is going to surprise you. The bass and voice quality is better than anything you have heard so far. The Mpow Cheetah is a model that has it all, strong bass, precise mids and crisp highs, pleasing almost everyone that does not know what he/she likes about the sound, making it a perfect first decent model.

Design and Durability

The design is almost the same as the Phaiser BHS-530 making it perfect for sports like jogging and biking or even the gym. The sturdy design also makes sure it won’t break easily and is made with high-quality materials. In addition, the Mpow Cheetah has nano coating protection, making it very very resistant to any kinds of liquids. If you are careful, you can expect it to last for 2 years easily.

Comfort and Fit

When we are talking about headphones, the comfort and fit will depend entirely on the ear pads and the material used on them, but when it comes to earbuds, it will depend mostly on the number of ear tips offered, because every ear is different. The Mpow Cheetah comes with the usual 3 pairs of silicone ear tips.

Accessories and Extras

The Mpow Cheetah comes in Black, Blue, Pink and Green, so you can pick your favorite color. There aren’t many extras here apart from the usual mic and controls and unfortunately, no case is included in the package. Last but not least, we have the standard 3 pairs of silicone ear tips.

The battery time is only average, 6-7h of music playback.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Deep Bass
  • Clear vocals
  • Nano coating
  • Premium materials
  • Durable

Cons:

  • Highs will not please demanding users
  • No case included

Conclusion

The Mpow cheetah is not a perfect model, but for less demanding users, this can be a perfect fit as it will provide a great experience while you practice sports every day. Combine this with a durable design and nano coating technology and you have a bass-heavy model for a long time. Definitely, a great purchase if you are on a tight budget. Make sure to click on the button below to see the updated price.
